Meet Kathryn and Anthony
Hi! We are Kathryn & Anthony, the husband-wife team behind Kathryn Poerio Photography. Our style is light, airy and romantic and our photographs are meant to create and preserve memories for our clients. We want our work to be memorable and special and we want our clients to love every photograph they receive from us. We also believe that when choosing a photographer it is so important to connect on a personal level - it will make you so much more comfortable throughout the entire process. With that said, we do actually love building relationships with our clients to help ensure that the preparation, engagement shoot, and wedding day all go smoothly and it's one of the things that differentiates us.
Stylistically, we consider ourselves fine art photographers and the images we produce will look and feel timeless and classic. We are based in New Jersey and cover New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. We both lived in the city for ten years (Manhattan and then Brooklyn) before putting down roots in a small town outside of the city so we are more than familiar with all of the beautiful spots to shoot in NYC. When summer comes around, we especially love weddings at the beach and spend most of our weekends at the Jersey shore. If you are out of town, we absolutely love to travel, especially for destination weddings. We can't wait to hear from, get to know, and help create a beautiful story for you on your wedding day.

Kathryn
Travel and photography are my passions and I can't seem to rein in my habitual urge to see, experience, and learn about our world and the people in it. I love admiring architecture in cities I've never visited before, indulging in local food and drink, and learning about the culture and people. You can always find me with a new book to read, designing (or re-designing) our home, cooking and enjoying good wine.
Having worked in finance for the first 11 years of my professional career, I've learned a lot about business but not enough about loving what you do and that's where being a photographer comes along. I can now say I truly do love what I do and can't wait to share my love of weddings & photography with you too!
Anthony
Good food, exercise and my wife are what make everyday for me.
A lover of Italian cooking and French wine, a forever Mets fan and sports junkie. I am curious about all things tech and you might find me experiment with aerial drone photography and videography, and website design on the side.
